NY citizens call for NYRI to disclose identities of investors
Albany – A coalition of citizens groups across New York State Tuesday has sent a formal request to New York Regional Interconnect calling on the company to the release of the names of its investors. NYRI is proposing to build a 200 mile long 400,000 volt overhead power line across New York State.

IPPNY Renews Call for Power Plant Siting Law
Albany, N.Y., The Independent Power Producers of New York, Inc. (IPPNY) today called the New York Independent System Operators
(NYISOs) Reliability Needs Assessment (RNA) a warning to the governor and lawmakers that electric system reliability will be jeopardized
without a power plant siting law. New York has been without an adequate siting law since the expiration of Article X in 2002.
